What will you be doing in exactly one year? I don't really expect anyone to think deeply into that question because it's a loaded question. However, when I remind myself how long a year is, it humbles me and makes me grateful for our service members.
Jeff leaves for his one year deployment TOMORROW. Jeff called earlier this week to have he and his girlfriend's OpLove session photographed. What Elisabeth didnt know is that he was planning on proposing during the session!
During the shoot, I made small talk about their relationship, trying not to blow the cover, until Elisabeth showed me her ring and said he had proposed the night before! Jeff decided to propose in a more meaningful location- at the OU campus.
They were such a fun couple, and chose the Paseo District downtown for their session location. Jeff & Elisabeth: Congratulations on your engagement and hope you have a safe and FAST deployment!

This is my son. Thank you for such beautiful photos. We will miss him so much.
PS: Of course, we could be no happier to have a such a lovely, pretty, caring, future daughter-in-law to welcome into our family. I had just told him goodbye when I posted the first one. No slight to Elizabeth, she knows We are thrilled.
